How We Use Customers Information


  • THESE POINTS SET OUT BELOW ARE RELEVANT TO THE INFORMATION OF OUR CUSTOMERS AND RELATE TO THE INFORMATION WE HOLD AND HOW AND WHY WE USE IT. TO HELP PROVIDE A BACK UP SERVICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS.

  • WE UNDERSTAND IN THE CURRENT CLIMATE THE IMPORTANCE OF OUR CUSTOMERS PERSONAL DATA THAT WE MAY HOLD AND KEEPING IT AWAY FROM ANYONE THAT MAY USE THIS INFORMATION FOR THE WRONG REASONS.

  • THE PERSONAL INFORMATION WE HOLD IS TO INCLUDE THE CUSTOMERS NAME, ADDRESS AND CONTACT PHONE NUMBER.

  • ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT WE HAVE ON FILE IS FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF CONTACTING THE CUSTOMER FOR THE REMINDER OF THEIR ANNUAL SERVICE THAT MAY BE COMING DUE OR ANY RECALL / REPAIR PROCEDURES THAT ARE NECESSARY IN RELATION TO THEIR CARAVAN OR MOTORHOME ONLY.

  • THIS IS TO INCLUDE INSURANCE ESTIMATES, DAMP ESTIMATES AND MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY CLAIM FORMS. AS MOST PEOPLE WILL BE AWARE – FAILURE TO CARRY OUT THE ANNUAL SERVICE WITHIN THE MANUFACTURERS ALLOWED TIME PERIOD WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY WITHOUT EXCEPTION. WE AIM TO SEND A REMINDER FOR THIS PURPOSE.

  • WE DO NOT AND WILL NOT SUPPLY ANY INFORMATION TO A 3RD PARTY THAT IS NOT IN RELATION TO THE JOB WE ARE ASKED TO CARRY OUT BY THE CUSTOMER. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. WE PERSONALLY DON’T AGREE WITH THE LEVEL OF COLD CALLING BY 3RD PARTIES THAT PAY FOR OUR INFORMATION EITHER.

  • ANY CONCERNS BY ANY CUSTOMER CAN BE ADDRESSED BY CONTACTING US BY EMAIL AT nationwidecaravan@btinternet.com AT ANY TIME.

  • NO INFORMATION WOULD BE GIVEN TO ANYONE REGARDINNG ANY CUSTOMER OR RELATED ISSUE UNLESS IT IS THE CUSTOMER IN QUESTION.

  • A FAILURE IN THE ABOVE WOULD BE A BREACH IN GDPR.

  • SHOULD ANY CUSTOMER WISH FOR US TO NO LONGER HOLD ANY INFORMATION AT ALL WILL HAVE ALL INFORMATION WE HOLD DELETED PERMANENTLY. 

  • OTHER INFORMATION THAT WE HOLD IS IN RELATION TO THE DETAILS OF THE CARAVAN OR MOTORHOME AND ITS FITTED APPLIANCES. THIS IS TO ENSURE THAT SHOULD ANY OF OUR CUSTOMERS BE UNFORTUNATE ENOUGH HAVE TO HAVE A PROBLEM, THEN WE HOPEFULLY HAVE ALL THE CORRECT INFORMATION IN ORDER FOR US TO ORDER THE CORRECT PARTS OR PLACE A WARRANTY CLAIM ON BEHALF OF THE CUSTOMER.

  • ANY CUSTOMER WHO WISHES TO NOT HAVE THIS SERVICE OFFERED BY US WILL HAVE ALL INFORMATION IN ITS ENTIRETY DELETED AND SUBSEQUENTLY CALLOUT CHARGES MAY APPLY IN ORDER FOR US TO OBTAIN THE RIGHT AND CORRECT INFORMATION. ANY PART(S) ORDERED FOR THE CUSTOMER WITH INFORMATION SUPPLIED BY THEM AND IS INCORRECT IS STILL CHARGABLE TO THE CUSTOMER. FOR THIS REASON WE HOLD RELEVANT DATA ONLY.
